bikini basketball

he Bikini Basketball Association (BBA) is an exciting new innovative women’s sports association. The BBA is a United States based women’s basketball association for beautiful athletic women. The association will begin play this summer on June 1, 2013. There are eight teams in the BBA, the Atlanta Peaches, Chicago Crave, Los Angeles Ice, Miami Spice, Orlando Lady Cats, Minnesota Mist, Illinois Heart, and Philadelphia Diamonds. Women were selected based on athleticism, personality, as well as beauty. The combination of these traits will help the BBA athletes stand out in their respective communities. Each team will feature between 14 to 21 talented female athletes on their rosters. fter the demise of the Lingerie Football League, you just knew that something had to take its place. Enter the Bikini Basketball League. Clearly the founders of the league believe that the only problem with the other league was that the scantily-clad ladies were playing football. Half naked women playing football? Nah. Half naked women playing basketball? That’s the ticket!

According to a report, the league has its first big name: Deiondra Sanders, daughter of Deion Sanders. Earlier this month, she tweeted a photo about getting ready for basketball practice with the interestingly-named Atlanta Peaches.
ryouts are still in progress for the eight-team league, which will be based in major metro areas around the country: Miami Spice, New York Knockouts, Hollywood Hotties, Orlando Lady Cats, Los Angeles Ice, Chicago Desire, Minnesota Mist and Atlanta Peaches are the official names. The season is slated to start in late spring 2013 with rosters that will feature 14 to 21 players each.

“This is great for women athletes for many reasons,” said McArthur, the league’s commissioner and owner of the Miami Spice. ”Many people hear the name of the league, and many things may cross their mind. But this is a professional league. It’s based on athleticism and talent, not just beauty.”
The team is the Chicago Crave of the Bikini Basketball Association, which promises a summer 2013 launch in six cities. And Proctor’s chances might be pretty good, considering she was just a couple of years behind Crave player/owner Korie Kellogg at the South Holland school.

The Crave drew 13 women to a tryout Sunday at Orland Park’s Lifetime Fitness. Kellogg, a Mokena resident and the ex-wife of ex-Bulls center Eddy Curry, was happy with the showing.
